Weight Loss Plan: The Goal to Go For

Having excess weight creates many different health problems now and later in life. Losing weight is something to think about not just look good but to prevent disease.

According the health reports obesity is rising every year. Many are reporting that our own children will not outlive their parents.  Today 70% of Americans have been on more than one type of a diet.

Many experts that deal with weight loss suggest choosing a goal and setting guidelines to lose the weight.

Be realistic when setting a goal, many people choose a goal that is unreachable and to ambitious.

Set appropriate objectives to eat right and exercise, something that will make you feel healthy and give you more energy.

Build bit by bit, short-term weight loss plans should not be “pie-in-the-sky.”  Take it one step at a time and build up to it.

Donna said “I started out slow, I couldn’t exercise at first so I ate healthy, as time went on I was able to exercise and I added this to my diet.”

Keep up the self-encouragement, an all-or-nothing attitude only sets you up to fail. If you fall short of some goals, just look ahead to next week. You do not need to have a perfect record.

Donna said “Telling myself everyday that I can lose the weight, and having my loved ones around me, helped keep me on track.”

Use measurable measures, just talking and not walking the talk doesn’t make you lose weight.

Donna said “If I said I was going to exercise, I exercised, I didn’t make excuses, I made myself accountable when I said something, when I said it, I did it.”

A weight loss plan is just that, a plan. Action needs to be given to plan, by incorporating actionable goals that will make the diet succeed.

Donna said “By having the right plan that makes sense for your lifestyle is very important, I found one that fits my lifestyle and I lost 50lbs with it.”

95% of the people losing weight do not succeed. There is one golden rule that must be followed and this has to do with getting started and getting through the first 30 days.

Many experts agree that the first 30 days are the most important moments when starting a weight loss program.  To get through the first 30 days many people have followed the advice from an expert. They reported that by doing this they were able achieve the following.
